About Us
HRT is an industry leader in the supply of rolling mill equipment and technology for the long bar products area for the steel industry. Our core business is closely tied to the manufacturing and supply of consumable steel mill production equipment, with a focus on (mini-mills and micro mills).
1. The manufactured consumables include (QTB equipment, guide rollers-new, guide rollers-reconditioning, roller guide box components, and fabrication/machining for the replacement of various production equipment).
2. The capital equipment supply includes (Mill Equipment and Guiding Equipment from Darting / Taiwan) and (Tungsten Carbide Roll Rings from Saar Hartmetall / Germany) These companies represent our “PARTNERS” and have a world class reputation across the globe
Facility
Our Footprint
We moved to our new facility in October 2023; the facility has 5,000 square feet of manufacturing space supported by 10 CNC lathes and 1 CNC mills that covering a wide variety of small and medium machining needs for the long bar steel production / rolling industry. We are centrally located just off Interstate 24 directly between Nashville Tennessee and St Louis Missouri
Product Refurbishment Support
Hot Rolling Technolgies offers a comprehensive support system for the refurbishment of all rolling mill guiding equipment. We recondition D2 rollers in a size range of 2" thru 20" in diameter. We also offer process design for the implementation of new product rollers and roll pass design for any application. This area is supported by (6) turning centers, 17" thru 30" swing.
New Roller and Guide Production
We produce a full line of new guide rolls, looper rolls, pinch rolls, QTB funnels, vertebrae funnels, cluster rolls, pinch roll delivery guides and wire rod block rolls. Materials include (D2, H13, PSB27, 420 stainless, Dura-bar and TiCarbide). This area is supported by (2) state-of-the-art slant bed turning centers, (2) flatbed CNC turning centers (1) 40 taper machining center, and (1) Collaborative Robot used for machine tending and lights our production.
