About Us
HRT is an industry leader in the supply of rolling mill technology and equipment specifically for the long bar products area in the steel industry. Our core business is closely tied to the manufacturing and supply of steel production equipment, with a strong emphasis on mini-mills and micro mills.
1. The manufactured consumables include QTB equipment, new guide rollers, reconditioned guide rollers, roller guide box components, and machining services for the replacement of various production equipment.
2. The capital equipment supply encompasses Mill Equipment and Guiding Equipment from Darting / Taiwan, as well as Tungsten Carbide Roll Rings from Saar Hartmetall / Germany. These companies represent our “PARTNERS” and have earned a world-class reputation across the globe.
Facility
Our Footprint
We moved to our new facility in October 2023; this space encompasses 5,000 square feet dedicated to machining services, supported by 10 CNC lathes and 1 CNC mill. Our facility is equipped to handle a wide variety of small and medium machining needs, specifically for the long bar steel production and rolling mill technology industries. We are centrally located just off Interstate 24, conveniently situated between Nashville, Tennessee, and St. Louis, Missouri.
Product Refurbishment Support
Hot Rolling Technologies offers a comprehensive support system for the refurbishment of all rolling mill guiding equipment, enhancing rolling mill technology in the process. We provide expert machining services to recondition D2 rollers in a size range of 2" through 20" in diameter. Additionally, our team specializes in process design for the implementation of new product rollers and roll pass design for any application, ensuring optimal performance in steel production equipment. This area is supported by six turning centers, with a swing capacity of 17" to 30".
New Roller and Guide Production
We offer a comprehensive range of machining services, including new guide rolls, looper rolls, pinch rolls, QTB funnels, vertebrae funnels, cluster rolls, pinch roll delivery guides, and wire rod block rolls. Our steel production equipment is crafted from high-quality materials such as D2, H13, PSB27, 420 stainless, Dura-bar, and TiCarbide. This area is enhanced by two state-of-the-art slant bed turning centers, two flatbed CNC turning centers, one 40 taper machining center, and one collaborative robot, which assists in machine tending and streamlines our rolling mill technology.
